Background 
A couple of friends who held common interests and enjoyed the freedom of motorcycling started the company in 1997. Initially, the company was nothing more than a hobby that gave the partners an excuse to ride to motorcycle events across the country in search for potential products. In 2002, the partners left their executive corporate positions and decided to turn the hobby into their "dream" business.  
  
Managing Members 
  Cherokee Trikes & More is a Family Owned Business with Dan Patterson Sr. (D1) & Danny Patterson Jr. (D2) being the Managing Members. Both bring Unique capabilities, experiences and backgrounds to the company - however they have one thing in common, a love for motorcycling.

Dan is the past President of a major aerospace corporation, headquartered in Greenville, SC. Dan spent 35 years in the aerospace business, rising from an aircraft structures mechanic through various management positions and into executive management within the corporation. Prior to coming to the Upstate of South Carolina, Dan was the Director of Space Shuttle Operations at Kennedy Space Center. Dan held the a CEO Position with Lehman heading up their North American operations until he retired in 2009.

Danny Jr. left his corporate accounting position at Coca-Cola in late 2004 to help take over the family business. Danny spent 10 years at Coca-Cola rising from a Financial Analyst to the Senior Accounting Manager/Acting Director of Equipment Service for the State of Florida. Danny received his first motorcycle at the age of 4 and has been riding ever since.

  Cherokee Trikes & More represents the culmination of a long time dream – to combine the joy, friendship and freedom of motorcycle riding into a business venture. The company captures this by using the Indian “Dream Catcher” as part of its logo.

Cherokee Trikes & More within a short  period has become one of the largest dealership, handling all of the top major brands. We have been responsible for the development of showrooms for all of North and South Carolina, plus portions of Georgia. While the companies focus is on trikes for Harley-Davidson, Honda, Suzuki, and Victory models, we also provide sales, service and accessories for most motorcycles. Along with Trikes we are an Authorized Victory Motorcycle Dealer.

At Cherokee Trikes & More, we want every ride to be safe and enjoyable. So always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
